FAQ
Questions behind the profiles.
Short answers on the line-up, the ratings and playing on different devices.
Why these five games?
All five are free to start, built around teams and run official servers and ranked modes. Together they cover the three shapes most groups argue about: round-based shooters, MOBAs and a short-match sport.
Why include Rocket League if its teams are three?
Because group size is the first question on this site. Rocket League is the best fit here for pairs and trios, and its profile says so instead of pretending to seat five.
Which games work for two players?
Counter-Strike 2 Wingman and Rocket League Doubles are true 2v2 modes. In Valorant, Dota 2 and League of Legends, a pair queues with three strangers.
Can we play on a Mac?
Dota 2 and League of Legends have macOS clients. Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and Rocket League do not.
Are the bars a score?
No. They describe what a game asks of a group. A full bar on rules to learn suits a group that wants a long project and puts off a group that wants to play tonight.
Do publishers pay for placement?
No. There are no paid placements, and the links to official sites carry no tracking parameters.
How do I report a mistake?
Email desk@lobbyharbor.com with the page and, if you have one, the source.
